It has been nearly two years since Glo Gang Capo was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Chicago, IL. On July 12, 2015 Capo, aka Marvin Carr, was standing on the 7700 block of South Kingston, around 1:45pm, when armed assailants did a drive-by shooting, fatally wounding Capo. The same shooting also claimed the life of a baby boy, 13-month-old Dillon Harris, who was struck by a car whose driver was fleeing the scene.
Capo was working on a new mixtape before his death, titled G.L.O.N.L. 3. Following his death, poor management of his music led to several songs getting leaked and G.L.O.N.L. 3 being seemingly forgotten.
Last month, Capo’s little brother, Dooski, announced G.L.O.N.L. 3 will finally be released this coming April. “Miss You Big Bro Holidays Ain’t The Same Without U So I Don’t Even Really Celebrate But 2017 I Told Myself Imma Make SURE Yo Project DROP Cause That’s What U Woulda Wanted #TheTrilogy #GoneBeYoBestProject #GLONL3 #April22nd” Dooski said on Instagram.
Dooski has made similar announcements regarding G.L.O.N.L 3 previously and never delivered. However, he seems to be taking it seriously this time around, yesterday he met-up with legendary mixtape host Trap-A-Holics in New York. Trap-A-Holics posted a photo of himself, Dooski, and Capo’s manager GBE Antonio onto Instagram, with the caption “Just ran into my bro @gbe_antonio and the gang out here in Manhattan, we just chopped it up & put the next moves together #RIPCapo #RIPBloodMoney #ForGreaterGlory #TrapTrapTrap #TheOriginalGloGang”
