Ice Cube Credits Chicago Violence For Film Influence

Chicago and violence have become synonymous over the past few years. The rise of drill music in 2012 introduced a new side to Chicago and gave America a glimpse into a world full of hatred and bloodshed comparable to war torn countries across the middle east, hence the nickname "Chiraq". So it shouldn't come as a surprise when Ice Cube revealed Chicago was one of the influences behind his upcoming film "Barbershop: The Next Cut" during his radio appearance at The Tom Joyner Morning Show.
