This has been Chief Keef’s most visible year in the public eye since his initial breakout in 2012, and it isn’t just because of his multiple arrests. After a relatively dry 2016 music-wise, Sosa came back in January with the Two Zero One Seven mixtape, followed a few months later by the critically acclaimed album Thot Breaker.
Now, your average artist would probably just rest on their laurels at this point, having dropped two fire projects and been featured on songs with Rae Sremmurd and Vic Mensa. But, as we all know, Keef is not your average artist, and he isn’t quite done yet.
Earlier today, Fredo Santana posted a new Mansion Musick cover with the caption “its time,” seeming to signal that Keef is about to unleash the mixtape upon his ravenous fans. For those keeping track, it was supposed to drop in November 2014. Weren’t we also supposed to get a tape called The W last month? Hm. Interesting. Peep Fredo’s post below and keep an eye out for new Sosa.
