Young Sizzle, known to many as Southside, has publicly cut all ties with Interscope Records.
The 808 Mafia frontman took to Instagram yesterday and let out his frustrations with the music label. In the video below, Southside claims he was inside of a studio operated by Interscope, when a group of men tried to rob him. Southside says he defended himself by pulling out a gun, which resulted in Interscope halting whatever deal(s) they had in the works with him.
“So because I up pistols on n*ggas I lose my whole deal? Then they want me to be quiet and not speak out, man f*ck y’all.” said Sizzle.
Sizzle says this all happened because Interscope had him working in the studio with a “$2 rapper from Atlanta”. He also reveals a new 808 album is in the works, entitled “Fuck The Label Vol. 1”. Check out the full Instagram Live session below.
